EXPANSION PROJECT IN LIMA ESTATE. Aboitiz Construction is developing 100 hectares and building a flyover for LIMA Estate, set for completion in 16–18 months.

Aboitiz Construction continues to contribute to the future economic growth in Batangas with its latest project for LIMA Estate—the Phase 4 infrastructure development spanning 100 hectares, along with the construction of a flyover inside the LIMA Estate.

The project, which began in the first half of the year, is scheduled for completion within 16 months for site development and 18 months for the flyover construction.

Beyond infrastructure development, the initiative is expected to generate significant employment opportunities, with a peak workforce of 195 workers, the majority of whom will be locally hired from Batangas. This aligns with Aboitiz Construction’s purpose of building for business to prosper and communities to thrive by fostering job creation and strengthening local economies.

This project is a testament to our commitment to delivering quality structures while contributing to the economic progress in the region. By helping the expansion of LIMA Estate we are not only supporting business growth but also creating more opportunities for local communities” said Ramez Sidhom, Chief Operating Officer of Aboitiz Construction.

As part of its Great Transformation 2025 strategy, Aboitiz Construction continues to integrate advanced technologies to enhance site development processes, ensuring efficiency and high-quality execution.

LIMA Estate continues to be a significant site for Aboitiz Construction’s projects, strengthening its portfolio in the infrastructure sector while facilitating the growth of the light industry sector in the region. To date, the company has covered a total of 217.5 hectares within LIMA Estate through various land development projects. It previously completed land development for Meadow Village, one of the components within Aboitiz Land’s The Villages at LIMA Estate, which is contiguous to the 70-hectare Biz Hub at LIMA Estate, Batangas’ first master-planned business district.

“The strong collaboration among Aboitiz Construction, Aboitiz InfraCapital Economic Estates, and Aboitiz Land reflects the strength of our integrated approach—one that delivers end-to-end solutions for locators and accelerates infrastructure development,” shared Rafael Fernandez de Mesa, Head of Aboitiz InfraCapital Economic Estates and President & CEO of Aboitiz Land. “This synergy allows us to fast-track projects, improve operational efficiency, and ultimately create an environment where businesses can thrive and communities can flourish.”

Aboitiz Construction is also leading the design and construction of a food manufacturing facility for Big E Food Corporation, the maker of Lemon Square pastries. The project includes a production plant, an operations and maintenance building, and other ancillary structures. The entire development is slated for completion within the year—another significant milestone under the light industry segment.

Strategically located in Lipa and Malvar, Batangas, LIMA Estate is a 1,000+ hectare PEZA-registered smart and sustainable industrial-anchored development, home to 250 locators and 75,000 employees, complemented by Biz Hub, a multi-awarded 70-hectare business district—the first of its kind in Batangas—offering a vibrant, future-ready community for businesses and residents.

As Aboitiz Construction celebrates its 50th anniversary bearing its new tagline, Engineered for Excellence, the company remains committed to delivering high-quality projects that help businesses to prosper, create employment, and contribute to long-term economic development.
